Climate Change and the Environment: The Ecological Perspectives of Different Faiths

Green Muslims will join the Montgomery County Interfaith Council (MCIC) for a gathering of leaders of different faiths to discuss attitudes and perspectives on Climate Change, Environment, Ecology, and Sustainability.

This event seeks to raise awareness and promote an understanding of the perspectives that different faiths hold with respect to the environment and climate change.  Presenters from the Christian, Hindu, Islamic, American Indian and Jewish faiths will seek to advance a dialogue that collectively addresses the ecological challenges and problems confronting our community. {Light refreshments will be served.}

PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED: To register, please send an email to by Wednesday, April 24th  indicating the names of the participants, as well as an e-mail address and phone-number. We will then contact you with any further details.  (Please plan to arrive before 2 PM. There is ample parking on grounds.)
